Telulah Park is Appleton’s second largest community park of 38 acres, located along the Fox River. The park offers fishing opportunities and an ADA Kayak launch, but even more excitingly offers one of the largest pickleball complexes in Northeast Wisconsin! JSD played the lead role in providing surveying, civil engineering, and landscape architecture services, with the impressive design of spectator areas, sports lighting, circulation, and stormwater management for the eight pickleball courts.

Even though the project site offered some unique grading challenges, JSD worked with the City’s Parks and Recreation Department to save mature trees by adjusting the plan layout, as well as provide access to the existing park amenities, including the playground and skate park.

JSD was proud to work with the City of Appleton Parks and Recreation Department to create a facility that will provide many years of fun and exercise for residents of Appleton and the greater Fox Valley area!
