As a professional land surveyor, Todd shares that his role at JSD falls in a place and time in his career where he has been able to provide mentorship to young staff and play a role in shaping their individual careers. Beyond client satisfaction, that is the most gratifying to him!
Outside of work he enjoys watching his daughter play Lacrosse for Indiana Tech University as well as fishing, carpentry, riding motorcycle and off-roading! Something you would NOT know from reading Todd’s resume is that he has met and had conversations with both Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings–on separate occasions and more than once! That certainly has led to him sharing that if he could have any job in the world and didn’t have to necessarily be concerned about income, he would choose to be a guitar player.
Interestingly, if Todd found a lottery ticket that ends up winning $10 million, he said his family knows he would leave for the West Coast before they knew he won and he would be buying an off-road Trophy truck race team and running the Baja 1000. Todd has a wife, son and daughter.
