Melissa is a proud mom of three grown children, and shares that she is a wife to someone as adventurous as her as she enjoys adventure sports like skydiving, bungee jumping, and zip lining in the mountains. In addition, she loves long drives that end up in random towns she’s never heard of!
Interestingly, she also keeps a running journal with her kids of “things that make you go HMMMMM…” with entries such as, “why is there caramel coloring in store-bought 100% Tea, since when you brew tea, its naturally that color–why is color added?” If you asked Melissa to build a brand-new phone app to do something helpful for her, she responds that she would keep a running log of all the ideas she’s tried that ended with “well, that didn’t turn out like the picture!”…and then alert her of instances when it sees her purchasing the same supplies from Amazon!
Describe your life using a movie title:
My movie would be more along the lines of National Lampoon’s Vacation. As a family on vacation, we drive everywhere we can in the US, and it never fails…the situations we get ourselves into are nothing short of comical!
If you were added as a new addition to the crayon box, what color would you be and why?
I would be a new blend of icy blue… because I love the cold and snow of winter!!
