Daniel holds a degree in Geography from UW–Whitewater, along with degrees in Civil Engineering Technology and Urban Planning from Milwaukee Area Technical College. Beyond his technical background, he brings a vibrant personal history—he once high‑fived Lenny Kravitz at a concert and was even body‑passed to the stage at a White Zombie show (where, as he admits, security promptly escorted him off). His very first job was as a cemetery groundskeeper, and if he could choose a dream role without worrying about anything else, he’d be a stadium attendant at American Family Field.

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys watching sports, hiking, hunting, fishing, and traveling. He and his wife are proud parents of two grown children.

If you were shipwrecked on a deserted island and your basic human needs – such as food and water – were provided, what other two items would you want to have with you?
A knife and matches!
