JSD provided professional surveying and engineering services to the Sun Prairie Youth Hockey Association for their new state-of-the-art, two sheet ice arena. The site development and engineering services provided included an existing conditions and topographic map, coordinating and facilitating site planning exercises with the architectural team, erosion control design, grading and utility design, and stormwater management planning.

In designing the site, the JSD Team was tasked with modifying the adjacent Sun Prairie High School stormwater management plan to provide more cost effective and sustainable stormwater practices for the site. The project was included in the list of projects to receive the Daily Reporters 2014 Top Projects of the Year Award (the most challenging, innovative and awe-inspiring Wisconsin projects).
