JSD is currently providing civil and landscape design services for the redevelopment of their historic Horlick Malted Milk Company campus located in downtown Racine. This proposed multi-use hub includes multi-family residential, commercial, retail, light industrial, business incubator, educational and recreational uses.

This $100 million multi-phased redevelopment project integrates the past with the future. The successful preservation of the campus’ historic buildings prevail alongside modern infrastructure improvements, including water, sanitary sewer, roadways, parking and enhanced pedestrian amenities in a modern, mixed-use, urban setting.

JSD’s scope of services includes conceptual site planning, master planning, civil engineering, roadway design, stormwater management, and landscape design.

JSD is also playing a key role in the coordination of site permitting and the City of Racine land use entitlement process, and will continue to play a key role in construction administration through completion of this exciting and monumental project for the City of Racine.
