Habitat for Humanity purchased and began redeveloping the “Northport Commons Neighborhood” in 2007. With the assistance of JSD Professional Services, Habitat replatted what was originally intended to be a series of high density 4-unit condo buildings into a mixture of high and medium density single-family homes. The resulting development has provided affordable home-ownership opportunities to 26 families through Habitat’s 0% mortgage program.

In an effort to continue to redefine the Allied Drive neighborhood on the Fitchburg side, Habitat purchased and is building single-family homes in the “Renaissance on the Park Neighborhood”. JSD has provided engineering and surveying services as Habitat continues its efforts to provide simple, decent, and affordable housing opportunities to Dane County residents.
