Badger Prairie Needs Network

The Badger Prairie Needs Network (BPNN) is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting poverty and ending hunger locally. BPNN operates a food pantry that serves food throughout Dane County, Wisconsin.

Phase one of this expansion was part of a $1 million expansion project, including a large federal funding grant and other donations, BPN had the goal to offer additional emergency services for local families, working along with other food pantries throughout Dane County.

JSD’s professional services work added additional cooler space, a loading dock, increased the pantry shopping area and expanded the outdoor shelter area for volunteers doing curbside food distribution.

Phase two included an additional expansion, allowing for a community room and training center as well as new patio space and expansion of site parking to support these new ventures.

Not only did JSD assist BPNN with civil engineering and land surveying services for their recent facility construction, but also donated $1500 worth of grocery bags for pantry use and spent a full day of work painting the new addition to their facility! JSD is proud to support BPNN making such a HUGE impact on our families in need.
