Description
JSD Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual for a Surveyor Technician position in our Waukesha, WI office. This position will include both private and public sector work, including site development, industrial and commercial development plans, and residential subdivisions. The Technician position is a field position.
Responsibilities
- Perform field survey activities in accordance with standards set by state statutes and the American Congress of Surveying and Mapping
- Perform boundary, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for public and private clients
- Fieldwork associated with land surveying, engineering, and construction projects
- Make timely requests for external equipment, procedural changes, new equipment purchases and vehicle maintenance to your Immediate Supervisor
- Prepare daily time sheets, data logs, expense reports and fields change orders
- Prepare CADD survey drawings if and when needed
- Ability to work extended hours as required to meet client, project and/or business demands
Education
- Associate Degree – Civil Engineering Technology
- CST Certification a Plus
