It’s finally a reality as JSD partnered with the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra (WYSO) on their new 40,000-squarefoot rehearsal facility in Madison.

JSD joined the project to support the site and civil design. Aside from the demolition to an existing restaurant, our team unveiled a preliminary site plan, grading and paving plan, a private utility plan, and erosion control and stormwater management plans.

Our team was thrilled to be a part of something so special as the building features three state-of-the-art rehearsal halls, eight studios, nine practice rooms, administrative offices, and a music library. The symphony’s vision is to expand instrumental music education and performance opportunities for young people of diverse backgrounds and inspire excellence and a lifelong connection to music.
