JSD partnered with the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra (WYSO) on their brand-new 40,000-square-foot rehearsal facility along East Washington Avenue in Madison. The vision is to expand instrumental music education and performance opportunities for young people of diverse backgrounds and inspire excellence and a lifelong connection to music. The new home for WYSO can accommodate all of the organization’s programs under a single roof and the dream is becoming a reality with two lead gifts totaling $18 million.

JSD joined the project to support the site and civil design. Aside from the demolition to an existing restaurant, our team is unveiling a preliminary site plan, grading and paving plan; a private utility plan; and erosion control and stormwater management plans.
