Sun Prairie’s former well known “pumpkin patch” made a huge transition into a large-format retail space and mixed-use development called Wildwood on Main. With Hy-Vee as the anchor tenant of the new space, JSD was brought in to help design multiple developments on this site, including design and permitting for its new multi-family project called Wildwood on Main.

Our team carried a heavy load on this development, starting with land surveying. JSD also took on a lead consulting role for geotechnical and photometric plan coordination. Our civil engineering team led the way on the entitlement process and extensive negotiations with the City of Sun Prairie on stormwater and utility requirements as they applied to the challenges of this site and its regional storm basin.

In addition, JSD provided landscape architecture services, which not only included softscape and hardscape design, but also construction drawings. Lastly, our team took on construction services for the project providing bidding and negotiation assistance for site/civil support.
