Wausau Smiles Dental offers cutting-edge cosmetic, preventive and restorative services in this approximately 4,000 square-foot office suite. The lower level in the building offers 4,000-square-feet of professional office space. The project site along the USH 51 corridor in Wausau featured a very challenging site with 50 feet in grade relief over a small 1.3-acre parcel. The JSD team provided professional surveying, civil engineering, landscape architectural design, entitlement approvals, permitting, construction staking and construction administration services for the project.

Our team assisted the planning and architectural team in siting the building so the 2nd floor dental lab chairs were oriented with an axial relationship to feature expansive views to Rib Mountain State Park and Granite Peak Ski Area. The challenging terrain required design of a bi-level parking lot to serve each suite, retaining wall solutions, soil stabilization and extensive grade management with the use of landscape plantings and structural site walls.
