JSD provided professional engineering and surveying services for an expansion to the original Waunakee Area Emergency Medical Service facility. An Existing Conditions Survey of the parcel was done including defining the site boundary, topography and utilities. This included researching the public records to obtain copies of existing maps and records and locating existing monuments and property corners to provide an accurate boundary.

JSD also provided civil engineering services for the proposed building addition and parking lot expansion using the Existing Conditions Survey as a base for the design. Civil engineering services included providing a grading plan, erosion control plan, utility plan, as well as details, specifications, and cost estimates for the exterior portion of the addition. The civil design plan set addressed onsite stormwater collection, treatment and conveyance, utility connections to the building, pavement design and construction erosion control practices.
