The Bevy is a unique residential development located in a historic section of Brown Deer. The Bevy offers studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments but residents can also enjoy a more “homelike” atmosphere in two- and three-bedroom, tri-level townhomes with private entry and attached two-car garages. All floorplans are named after famous rock guitarists, and upon moving in, residents receive a vintage record player and a library of vinyl to choose from.

JSD provided full civil engineering plans for site layout, grading, drainage, utility and paving. The project involved working closely with the Village to review a previously completed stormwater management plan, assuring it could accommodate the increased stormwater flows from the development and still provide water quality.

Land surveying services included an ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey, including review of the title report and locating all features prior to permitting and construction. JSD also provided a Certified Survey Map for land division and construction staking services with a final project closeout as-built survey.

JSD was responsible for all permit applications to the Village of Brown Deer, State of Wisconsin and Wisconsin DNR for design review within their discipline.
