With a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from UW-Madison, Taryn also has a Certificate in Sustainability from UW-Madison and will be integrating environmental services into the already well-established sectors offered at JSD to assist clients on many kinds of projects.
Taryn’s first job ever was working as a line chef at Panera Bread, but if she could have any job in the world, she would love to be a travel agent, specifically one that gets to travel to different resorts around the world to recommend to clients! Outside of work, Taryn enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time on Wisconsin’s many lakes. Taryn and her husband have one dog named Koda.
If you were added as a new addition to the crayon box, what color would you be and why?
Sky blue–some of my favorite days are spent in a hammock near a lake just looking up at the sky.
If you could build a brand-new phone app to do something helpful for you, what would it do?
I would love to have an app to kill the bugs that manage to make their way inside of my house so then I wouldn’t have to cover them with a box or cup until my husband gets home to dispose of them.
Describe your life using a movie title?
I would go with “We Bought a Zoo” because……….
1. Who wouldn’t want to live at a zoo, and
2. I love to solve problems collaboratively
