Landscape Designer II
As one of JSD’s landscape designers, Matt analyzes existing site conditions, configures design layouts, and prepares final landscape graphics for the landscape architect team. He also explores design solutions during all parts of the process in collaboration with feedback from clients, engineers, planners and architects.

What Matt enjoys most about being on the JSD landscape architect team is his ability to provide ideas on new spaces that solve challenges and grant the wishes of the client! Even though his very first paying job back in his younger years was being a soccer referee, he admits that if he could have any job in the world he would be thrilled to be a professional triathlete!
Outside of the office, Matt enjoys running, skiing, biking and being on the water. He has a twin sister and older brother, both which he laughingly shares are redheads! He also admits that living in Wisconsin his whole life, he has never been to a Packer or Bucks game!
If you were added as a new addition to the crayon box, what color would you be and why?
Banana–because if you eat two per day you will live to be 100!
What would your pet say about you if we asked them for a reference?
He’s never home and he forgets to turn off the lights!
