Jeff Thieding
Construction Engineer
As Chief Construction Project Engineer for JSD, Jeff assists with design, soils analysis, technical specifications, cost projections and contractor bid analysis and verification. Once a project is under contract, Jeff assists with pre-construction and engineer/contractor progress meetings, site progress and erosion control, shop drawings, contractor questions and pay application review.

Jeff shares that his favorite part of being on the JSD team is providing clients with innovative site designs and construction services that maximize their vision and provide communities with added opportunities and environmentally sound facilities. Jeff was a member of the Wisconsin Earth Movers Association (WEMA) Board of Directors from 2000-2007 and the Wisconsin Technology Council – Governor’s Business Plan Finalist in 2017.
Interestingly, Jeff admits he loves to “invent stuff” that solve real world problems, and he is actually is working with the U.S. Patent Office on a Flood Barrier System. He would also admit he has other small-level inventions that haven’t left his garage yet! Jeff has a wife, four children, two grandchildren and a dog!
