Colton Darwin
Survey Technician
Colton Darwin is a survey crew chief for JSD, assisting with project management and coordination. He performs topographic and utility field surveys for design work. This includes road and site construction layout and staking as well as processing field data and creating digital terrain maps. Colton also drafts survey documents such as, Plats, CSMs, ALTA, Topo and utility, legal/exhibits, and easements.

Outside of the office, Colton enjoys traveling, hunting, fishing, and outdoor adventures in general. Something not many people know about him is that he loves to bake! His very first paying job ever was grooming and lining baseball fields, but if he could do anything in the world, he would love to be a fly-fishing guide out west!
Colton and his fiancé have an 8-month-old pup named Hazy.
