Christie has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Southern Illinios University-Carbondale. Her very first paying job was working at the Illinois State Fair, but if she could have any job in the world and not worry about income, she would love to work with families looking to adopt children!
Something you would NOT know about Christie from her resume is that she is a Black Irishman—this came from the Irish that lived on the West coast of Ireland. The Spanish invaded many times and thus there are many dark Irish that look as if they are Spanish or Italian. Her sister and brother have fair skin/blue eyes, while her dad’s side of the family has black hair/dark eyes, but they are 100% Irish!
Outside of work, she enjoys biking, hiking, reading and traveling and loves spending time with her husband and two grown children.

Turquoise: makes me think of the ocean and beach!
