As a graduate of UW-Madison for Geological Engineering and Geology, Chris admits that his very first paying job was being a Sandwich Artist at Subway. But if he could have any job in the world and didn’t have to necessarily be concerned about income, he would love to run a hobby farm.

What is something we would NOT know about Chris from reading his resume? Barry Alvarez once told him as a small child he was too pretty to play football—it led to his unsuccessful football career! Outside of work, he also enjoys golfing, ultimate frisbee, running, curling, gardening, cooking and traveling.

Chris has a wife, daughter, two dogs and a cat.

If you were added as a new addition to the crayon box, what color would you be and why?
“Casper” or “Lobster Red” depending on the season.

What would your pet say about you if we asked for a reference?
My sassy teenager-esque husky mutt would probably say “he’s fine I guess”, my dopey shepherd would probably get stranger danger and just run away from you, and my possessed cat would likely just meow into the void.

If you found a lottery ticket that ends up winning $10 million, how do you spend it?
I would be a little boring and pay off loans and put a bit into college funds, but once the responsible part of me was done I would probably book a big trip for my family that had lots of unique experiences involved (first class of course).
