As part of our civil engineering team, Mary Schmidbauer assists with the design of site layout, grading, utility, and erosion control practices, as well as performing stormwater analysis, and assembling corresponding permitting, calculations, and other documentation to achieve a quality site design.
Alexis Habermehl, a civil engineer on our team, graduated from UW–Platteville with a civil engineering degree and municipal/transportation emphasis. She touches both the private and public sector work on our team, expanding from commercial/retail and education or government, all the way to healthcare, mixed use/residential and community & civic projects!
As a survey technician for JSD, Nathan carries out boundary surveying, topographic surveying and construction staking as well as ALTAs for JSD’s clients.
As a civil engineer, Austin prepares storm water management reports and engineering civil plans for industrial/commercial developments and residential subdivisions. This includes storm sewer designs, water main / sanitary sewer plan and profiles, as well as earthwork calculations.
Patrick is a Project Engineer at JSD, assisting in the design and completion of civil construction drawings while integrating clients needs into their projects.
As a project engineer at JSD, Craig has a high proficiency in CAD production and related engineering software. He prepares engineering plans for commercial and residential development, earthwork volumes and storm drainage calculations. In addition, he leads on design of utilities, including storm and sanitary sewers, waterlines, waterline sizing, grading and drainage plans, street improvements,
Chuck serves as a JSD survey crew chief for field surveying to include boundary and topographic surveying, monitoring surveys, utility layout, construction staking and as-built surveys. He is also experienced in AutoCAD Civil 3D providing drafting for all types of surveys, exhibits and technical maps.
Mr. Lafferty is a Survey Technician and has a year of experience in the field of land surveying. He has worked under Senior Crew Chiefs on multiple jobs, primarily relating to construction staking, boundary surveys, and topographical surveys. Mr. Lafferty also has drafting experience with AutoDesk Licensed products such as Civil 3D and Revit.
Andy is JSD’s survey department manager for the Waukesha office with extensive experience in AutoCAD, survey field procedures, numerous types of surveys, and data collection. He takes the lead on workload coordination between offices, field procedures and standards, QA/QC of project deliverables, as well as managing survey task budgets and proposals.
