Kamren Bornemeier is a project coordinator for JSD, helping coordinate project schedules, resources, and information while also serving as a liaison with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
Mary Schmidbauer
As part of our civil engineering team, Mary Schmidbauer assists with the design of site layout, grading, utility, and erosion control practices, as well as performing stormwater analysis, and assembling corresponding permitting, calculations, and other documentation to achieve a quality site design.
Alexis Habermehl
Alexis Habermehl, a civil engineer on our team, graduated from UW–Platteville with a civil engineering degree and municipal/transportation emphasis. She touches both the private and public sector work on our team, expanding from commercial/retail and education or government, all the way to healthcare, mixed use/residential and community & civic projects!
Nathan Scheeter
As a survey technician for JSD, Nathan carries out boundary surveying, topographic surveying and construction staking as well as ALTAs for JSD’s clients.

Patrick is a Project Engineer at JSD, assisting in the design and completion of civil construction drawings while integrating clients needs into their projects.
Austin Podella
As a civil engineer, Austin prepares storm water management reports and engineering civil plans for industrial/commercial developments and residential subdivisions. This includes storm sewer designs, water main / sanitary sewer plan and profiles, as well as earthwork calculations.
Craig Peterson
As a project engineer at JSD, Craig has a high proficiency in CAD production and related engineering software. He prepares engineering plans for commercial and residential development, earthwork volumes and storm drainage calculations. In addition, he leads on design of utilities, including storm and sanitary sewers, waterlines, waterline sizing, grading and drainage plans, street improvements,
Conor Lafferty
Mr. Lafferty is a Survey Technician and has a year of experience in the field of land surveying. He has worked under Senior Crew Chiefs on multiple jobs, primarily relating to construction staking, boundary surveys, and topographical surveys. Mr. Lafferty also has drafting experience with AutoDesk Licensed products such as Civil 3D and Revit.
