The Novation Senior Commons development is a luxury apartment complex which is part of the Novation Campus Master Plan. The facility is an affordable housing community for those 55 and older. JSD provided survey, civil engineering and landscape architecture services for the construction of this four-story, 60-unit complex.

The small land parcel constrained grades at all corners of the site but the collaborative design team helped find a solution to provide building access, and parking and pedestrian connectivity. Stormwater management was integrated with a bio-retention basin to treat total suspended solids, oil and grease as well as infiltration.
