JSD is in collaboration with the developer and architect on this exciting Nine Springs mixed-use residential development. The anticipated project value is $115 to $125 million and spans 32 acres of extreme terrain. The masterplan for the development includes commercial/retail uses, a mix of housing types, and recreational/community uses.

The development is to be built over 60 to 80 feet of concrete fill, making this a true brownfield site. JSD’s civil engineering team has worked hand in hand with various geotechnical engineers as they propose public services including roads and utilities above. The project will have a total of 462 housing units including senior living apartments, townhomes, and condos with a mix of commercial space.

The masterplan will create a destination for the City of Fitchburg with unique stormwater management elements, multi-use trails, courtyards, active play areas, playgrounds, plazas and a sledding hill/amphitheater.
