JSD is honored to partner with Menards Inc. to take the lead on consulting and civil engineering, with associated surveying and landscape architecture on numerous locations throughout multiple states. Our team has provided engineering services on not only existing retail facilities but also new retail developments in various states that required not only private improvements but also public infrastructure improvements where JSD has provided civil engineering, surveying and landscape architecture design.

JSD partners with Menards Inc. to help expand their existing nationwide manufacturing and distribution campus. JSD has provided civil engineering services for new truss manufacturing plants and large warehouse facilities. These large industrial facilities require Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) to meet National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) regulations. JSD has assisted in preparing these industrial SWPPP plans as well as permit applications and other submittal materials in various states.

In 2022, Menards developed an initiative to expand their self-storage facilities by providing affordable storage options in a variety of different sized storage units. JSD has taken the lead on civil engineering as well as providing surveying services in various states for this expanded service. These sites require extensive detailed grading and earthwork analysis as well as stormwater management analysis.
