JSD provided professional consulting services for the new state-of-the-art medical campus for Memorial Medical Center – Ladysmith. The new center will offer emergency/ urgent care, surgical services, cardiac rehab, physical/ occupational/speech therapy and pharmaceutical to the Ladysmith area with the expertise of Marshfield Clinic Health System’s nearly 170 specialties. JSD’s team supported Memorial Medical Center and Marshfield Clinic’s partnership in the preliminary engineering of the site.

Our team’s work provided multiple building configurations for the design team to review for building placement, right of way access, parking areas, helipad locations and additional site element needs. We also developed a preliminary grading plan for building placement, parking lot areas, and stormwater management areas. In addition, our team spent time reviewing stormwater requirements and providing best management practices for the placement of stormwater management facilities.

Lastly, JSD’s designers developed a preliminary earthwork analysis to assist the design team on pricing for earthwork done on the site.
