Leo Leathers Park is a 21-acre site that includes ballfields, basketball, parking, walking path, playground, and a nine-hole disc golf course.

JSD was hired as consultants by the Mundelein Park & Recreation District to update and expand the current play area. The redeveloped park design included the addition of a ninja challenge course that serves ages 5-12+ and includes engineered wood fiber mulch, additional paths and a seating area.

JSD designed the final master plan, prepared construction documents, and led the bidding, contract administration and construction observation.
