As part of the Kettle Park West Master Plan Community, the Kettle Park West Senior Living development is a brand-new luxury apartment complex. The facility is an age restricted, affordable housing community featuring a variety of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartment-style housing options from assisted living to independent living arrangements and memory care services.

JSD provided survey, civil engineering and landscape architecture design services. Located on a small site with steep grades at all corners of the site, the JSD Design Team worked collaboratively with the architectural team to present grading and building siting solutions aimed at providing safe and convenient at-grade building access, level surface parking and enhanced pedestrian connectivity and walking trails throughout the site.

The JSD design team also played a key role in designing the site’s amenities, including a variety of outdoor recreation opportunities, as well as integrating the onsite stormwater management facilities as an amenity into the overall site design. The development features a variety of outdoor recreation opportunities, including an outdoor patio area, putting green, bocce ball court, walking trails, and natural area.
