Kettle Forge

JSD played a key role in the design phase of Kettle Forge Golf Course with comprehensive civil engineering, surveying, environmental, and planning services.

Set amongst the picturesque landscape of southeastern Dodge County, this 270-acre private golf course will boast world-class and lavish amenities with the design experience of PGA golfer (and Madisonian) Steve Stricker assisting on the project. With limited membership and private access, the overall course usage is about half that of typical public golf courses, creating a quieter and more relaxed environment for players.

The project included preparing a detailed Plat of Survey and Map, featuring a full boundary survey of the property along with documentation of existing buildings, fences, and walls. JSD also performed an in-depth review and refinement of the initial schematic Site Plan to improve functionality and regulatory alignment.

The dominant feature on the rolling land is a hill rivaling Holy Hill in height and offering 20-mile panoramic views. The clubhouse and guest cottages will be built on top of the hill!
