Jon attended Fergus Falls Community College and played basketball there before transferring to St. Cloud Technical College for a degree in Land Surveying and Civil Engineering. His very first paying job was at his dad’s salvage yard cleaning the offices and taking parts off smashed up cars! But, he shared that if he could have any job in the world and didn’t have to necessarily be concerned about income, he would enjoy owning a bait and tackle shop!
Outside of the office he enjoy anything outdoors–hunting, fishing, camping, etc.—but now serving more as a chaperone for his two boys who are enjoying the fun! He and his wife have two sons.
If you found a lottery ticket that ends up winning $10 million, how do you spend it?
I would buy enough land for my family and I to live on and hunt then I would open a couple bait and tackle shops.
If you were shipwrecked on a deserted island and your basic human needs—such as food and water—were provided, what other two items would you want to have with you?
A fishing rod and unlimited tackle.
