The Hoffman Estates Village Green is located in the Prairie Stone Business Park, next to the NOW Arena, and features the Virginia Mary Hayter Amphitheater. The Village hosts evening summer concerts and other outdoor events and is also heavily used by surrounding local businesses for outdoor lunch spots and walking.
JSD served on a design team for the redevelopment of the Village Green and Amphitheater. The JSD landscape architecture team took the lead role in master planning and landscape architecture design for the site. JSD prepared conceptual plans and construction documents for the concessions area, outdoor dining, food truck court, central green and amphitheater renovations. Phase I construction was completed in 2021.

Phase II is set to begin in 2024. Phase II includes an expanded beer garden, splash pad, music gateway and outdoor plaza for winter activities such as ice skating and a Christkindlmarket.
