What was once a large parking lot of hundreds of WisDOT employee vehicles is now transforming into a vibrant, mixed-use destination within the prominent Madison Hill Farms neighborhood. JSD’s design team played a key role in developing the 13-acre site managing and developing public plan improvements, including transportation infrastructure, sanitary sewer, and watermain improvements.

Our local expertise positioned JSD’s team as the entitlement “lead” for the project, overseeing coordination of the project team and deliverables. Our  design team played a key role in developing the overall streetscape within the development, site amenities, courtyard open spaces, and public “Central Green” that is not only complementary to the contemporary architecture, but also creates a cohesive urban environment.

Madison Yards’ design draws upon the natural beauty of its surrounding context, including vistas and rolling hills, as well as its urban infill setting. The development will undoubtedly become one of Madison’s unique places to live, work, and play as it beautifully compliments sustainability and green elements.
