Once the corporate headquarters of Kimberly Clark, this 43-acre campus along Little Lake Butte des Morts is being transformed into Evergreen Fox Crossing, a vibrant senior living community centered on wellness, connection, independence, and the outdoors.

At the heart of the redevelopment is the adaptive reuse of the approximately 178,000 square-foot headquarters building. Rather than a traditional senior living development, the vision creates a dynamic lakefront community where architecture, landscape, amenities, and resident experiences work together. JSD’s landscape architecture team helped shape the campus experience, from arrival and courtyards to rooftop terraces, gardens, gathering spaces, and the reimagined waterfront. Thoughtful circulation, planting, seating, accessibility, and indoor-outdoor connections create opportunities for residents to move, gather, explore, and engage with the landscape.

The waterfront is a defining feature, with improved connections to the lake, expanded gathering areas, walking experiences, and opportunities for recreation. The result is a renewed campus that honors its history while creating an active, connected, and engaging setting for the next chapter of life.
