JSD provided professional civil engineering, surveying, and landscape architectural services for capital improvements and site amenities for the Erin Hills Golf Course in Hartford, Wisconsin (located in the Town of Erin in Washington County, about 35 miles northwest of Milwaukee). Erin Hills was chosen as the site for the 2017 U.S. Open Golf Championship and was also chosen for the 2011 U.S. Amateur Championship.

The golf course includes: a world class 360-degree practice facility; landscape pond/scrape enhancements for hole no. 14; improvements to the overall cart path/main spine system; a new maintenance facility; existing clubhouse roadway, path circulation, and parking lot improvements; a proposed village including new manor house, cottages and infrastructure; and a new entrance drive and improvements to the County Highway O intersection.
