Lake County Lutheran High School
The 100-acre Lake Country Lutheran Association development includes a 151,000-square-foot high school with room for future expansion. The school has three science labs, two computer labs, a Great Hall Student Center and an extra-large gymnasium. It also includes a track and football stadium, athletic fields, tennis courts, parking, and a new roadway system to access the site.
JSD’s services included preparing grading, drainage and erosion control plans, stormwater management plans, construction phasing plans, sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer plans, boundary and topographic surveys and numerous legal exhibits. The stormwater management system consisted of a wet basin which overflowed to an infiltration basin eventually draining an existing closed depression onsite.
JSD also prepared roadway plans for the extension of Campus Drive and modifications to STH 83 and the eastbound off-ramp for STH 16. Public watermains had to be extended under STH 16 to service the site. JSD prepared necessary plan and profile drawings and permit applications for approval by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
