Hamilton High School Performing Arts Center

As part of the Hamilton School District expansion, JSD provided engineering design services to the District for the Hamilton High School Performing Arts Center. The 38,000-square-foot addition provides a venue for performing arts, music and dance as well as an assembly area for other student activities. The design and construction added an additional 3.9 acres of improvement to the campus.

Along with the Performing Arts Center, improvements included two separate additional parking lots totaling over 200 spaces along with supporting driveways. Access to the property included close coordination with an adjacent subdivision for improvements to the existing Town Line Road. Updates to Town Line Road included acceleration and deceleration lanes along with bypass lanes. JSD’s professional services included an existing conditions survey, grading and paving plans, accessibility routes, storm sewer design, and utility connections. JSD also provided a stormwater management plan including a dry detention basin addressing water quality and quantity.
