JSD was extremely honored to recently accept the 2022 Hearts for Helping Community Impact Award from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County (BGCDC). The award was in recognition for JSD donating 100% of its civil engineering, structural engineering, land surveying, and landscape architecture services for the new McKenzie Regional Workforce Center in Fitchburg.

The center will not only house the corporate office for BGCDC, but also provide Dane County’s young people with job training and placement in careers such as plumbing, construction, HVAC and welding. Those going through the program not only have access to training but new jobs as well! JSD was proud to be a part of the design team!
