The Cheesecake Factory

JSD has had the privilege of collaboratively working on the continued redevelopment efforts to accommodate new tenants on both the East Towne and West Towne Mall properties, including The Cheesecake Factory.

The JSD team provided survey, civil engineering, planning, and landscape architecture services as well as spearheading the land use entitlement review and approval process with the City of Madison. The exterior tenant improvements are located adjacent to the central mall entry and required the incorporation of several former interior retail spaces to create the roughly 9,400 square-foot restaurant space. The tenant improvements included an outdoor patio seating area, facade improvements, and landscape site improvements.

JSD served as the project lead for on-site planning efforts related to the tenant improvements, including improvements to site circulation, parking, and landscaping, the coordination of City of Madison land use entitlements and construction permitting efforts.
