Christopher Jackson, P.E

Vice President | Civil Practice Lead | Senior Project Engineer II

Christopher Jackson is a Vice President/Civil Practice Lead/Senior Project Engineer II for JSD, basically designing and managing all civil engineering projects as well as mentoring and managing other engineers on staff.

Interestingly, Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History before returning to school for his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Even though his first ever paid job was washing dishes at a Chinese restaurant, he admits that if he could have any job in the world and didn’t have to be concerned about income, he would love to be a youth soccer coach at the recreational level! Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, cooking, and reading.

Chris and his wife have a son and daughter, as well as the family dog, Manny.

If you could build a brand-new phone app to do something helpful for you, what would it do?
Help turn off my brain, so I could always sleep at night.

If you were added as a new addition to the crayon box, what color would you be and why?
Green–It represents growth, and something that I try to always do, both personally and professionally.

If we asked your pet for a reference on you, what would he say?
He is the one who is always happy to see me, so I think he would say “I’m great.”
