The new Ascension Wisconsin Hospital provides an innovative way to integrate inpatient and outpatient services at an affordable cost while keeping care close to home. JSD provided professional services for Ascension Hospitals in three locations, Greenfield, Menomonee Falls and Waukesha.

For all three sites, JSD provided a variety of services including storm water management design; utility design with sanitary sewer, water main, and storm drain design; landscape architecture; and structural design services. JSD designed new water and sanitary connections to the Greenfield building, and redesigned the parking lot and surface drainage to accommodate the required emergency access to the entrances. In addition our team took the lead on permit applications and construction administration.

The Menomonee Falls location was built to provide more access to primary, specialty, hospital and emergency services. The first floor of the two-story, 33,000-square-foot health center houses a hospital with emergency services and eight inpatient beds. Greenfield’s site is a 32,000-square-foot health center developed as a small-scale neighborhood hospital, while the Waukesha Hospital has two stories and a medical office building of about the same size.
