Senior Project Engineer II
Andrew is a Senior Project Engineer for JSD, designing and preparing engineering documents for projects in private and public sector work, including site development, industrial and commercial development plans, and residential subdivisions. Interestingly, he attended a handful of schools all over the nation (and outside of the US), ending at Michigan Technological University. His studies at a multitude of locations led to a degree in civil engineering and a master’s in environmental engineering.

If Andrew could have any job in the world and didn’t have to necessarily be concerned about income, he would choose to be an astrophysicist, but laughingly shares his first job was carrying out a local paper route!
Outside of the office, Andrew enjoys doing Biathlons (skiing, shooting) in the winter and Triathlons (Swim, Bike, Run) in the summer, and is very proud of his Ironman completion in 2017! Outside of outdoor exercise, he enjoys a side of red wine while traveling the world—Andrew has visited 7 out of 8 continents in the world (he is counting New Zealand as the 8th!)
Some interesting things you would NOT know from reading Andrew’s resume is that he spent a season in Antarctica sorting toxic waste, then swam with a school of sharks in the Caribbean! He also once ate breakfast across from Gordon Ramsey, sharing he is actually a very nice guy!
Andrew lives in the Verona area with his wife and has one dog and a gecko.

I would be reflective since I spend a lot of time on my bike and running on the road, so being reflective would come in handy
Describe your life using a movie title:
Hunger Games – I have a reputation for how much food I can put away. I was endlessly hungry from age 14 – 30!
What would your pet say about you if we asked it for a reference?
“He’s a great running and hiking partner, but could be a little less stingy with the snacks. He hogs the bed and makes me share my half with mom (who is more generous with the snacks!)”
