Project Engineer I
As a project engineer, Alex prepares engineering plans for commercial and residential developments. He covers a wide variety of services including earthwork volumes and storm drainage calculations, design of utilities, including storm and sanitary sewers, waterlines and waterline sizing, grading and drainage plans, street improvements, as well as construction documents and all supporting documentation. Alex has an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Madison Area Technical College and a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville.

After starting his career in the world of surveying, Alex admits that he enjoys seeing projects go from the existing survey to final design. He added that if he could have any job in the world and didn’t have to be concerned about income, he would love to manage a soccer club.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys playing soccer, running, skiing, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and their two dogs!
If you found a lottery ticket that ends up winning $10 million, how do you spend it?
I would develop and build an indoor soccer arena.
If we asked your pet for a reference about you, what would it say?
He is the best dad ever! He feeds and walks me every day and lets me sit on the couch to watch TV.
If you were shipwrecked on a deserted island and your basic human needs—such as food and water—were provided, what other two items would you want to have with you?
A soccer ball and a ball pump.
